The Rabbits Scroll
Date: 9/2019 - 4/2020
The Rabbits Scroll is a 2D Action Platformer made by Scroll Up Games at Digipen Institute of Technology. For this project, I acted as both Art Lead as well as Props Artist, designing all the visible platforms and particles emitted from them in the game. The art style itself was based on Ancient Chinese landscape scroll paintings. The game was built in a custom engine and all artwork was created using a combination of Procreate, Photoshop, and Krita.
My Role
On the Rabbits Scroll, I acted as the Art Lead of the team, As well as being the Props Artist and assisting our VFX Artist with particle creation.
Gameplay
The Rabbits scroll is a height based Platformer. You are a painted Rabbit on an ancient scroll , when suddenly your story starts to be absorbed by the ink! Your Goal is to escape your legend before you are absorbed by the ever rising tide of ink that chases you!.
