Destructible Maneki Neko

A fully custom destructible Maneki Neko Model rendered out in Unreal Engine 4. The initial idea was to create a game-ready destructible asset based on the collectibles from Army of TWO: 40th day.

 

Modeling was done in a combination of both Maya (for the initial block out and UV work) and Blender (for the hi-poly sculpt). It was then brought into Substance Painter for texturing, followed by Unreal for shattering (using APEX destruction), Lighting, and Rendering.
